MINNESOTA STATE HANDBALL ASSOCIATION MEMBERS,

The MSHA Board of Directors is sending you this notice of a special meeting to discuss and ratify changes to the MSHA Bylaws, as per our current Bylaws.  The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 PM, Monday, February 27, 2017, at the office of the MSHA Corporation:

The purpose of these changes is to improve the operation and management of our association. There are minor grammatical changes.  We have added several sections:

• The Purpose of our organization 
• Conflict of interest definitions and procedures  
• Support for 501(c)(3) IRS Code 

We also modified:

• Conditions for officially notifying the members to include electronic means that will enable us to communicate with you more efficiently and more economically. 
• The nomination process for the Board of Directors to better enhance the election process at the annual meeting
• The annual meeting time and location requirements

You are welcome to come to the meeting on the 27th or contact any MSHA Board member with your comments or concerns.
