The predicted demise of the St. Anthony Athletic Club was premature.  Well, technically, the St. Anthony Athletic Club is gone, but the building is still there and operating under independent management as of September 1, 2015.  More than 50 previous member SAAC members ponied up $60/month for each of the last four months of 2015 to keep the doors open and the club running through a special lease arrangement with the developments new owners.  Construction (demolition) may not start until June of 2016!  We can extend the lease month-to-month in 2016.

There may be a first annual after the last Ice Box Doubles handball tournament in 2016.  Stay tuned.  At least through the end of 2015 Tuesday night handball continues at the Pulled Pork Athletic Club - PPac.  The old/new club intends to continue to participate in TC Handball League, as well.
