Matt Johnson severely injured this past August

MSHA Handball Players,

I don't know how many of you know Steve Johnson's nephew Matt, but Steve informed me that he was in a serious accident in August and that Steve is hosting a benefit event for him on February 28.  Below is the portion of Steve's email along with two PDF files regarding the benefit event details. The information will also be available on the MSHA website.

"My nephew Matt Johnson was severely injured last August.  A man in a pick up truck ran him over and dragged him for several feet.  He has had several surgeries but is still bed ridden.  I am hosting a benefit for him on February 28th in St. Paul and would like to communicate it to the handball community.  Matt is a handball player and has pictures in the MSHA photo books.  In fact, he defeated Andy Nett in a junior tournament 21-0, 21-0 (Andy chuckled as he told me this a couple weeks ago:)".

We hope that many of you will be able to attend the event and support Matt in his rehabilitation from this horrific accident.
