For the 17th consecutive year, the University of Minnesota Handball Classic got the Minneapolis Handball Season off on the right foot with some exciting match play.  Once again, Matt Hiber showed he is the player to beat in the Open division-beating runner-up Mike Gustafson in straight games.  Additional highlights included the young Tyler Stoffel winning a competitive A division along with the Miller brothers, Michael and David, dominating the B and C divisions respectively.  This year also marked the first bracket style Women’s division.  Rebecca Michaels was able to win the Women’s division without conceding a single game.
